Schema-focused Therapy (SFT)
SFT helps individuals understand and change deeply rooted emotional patterns, called schemas, which influence how they think, feel, and relate to others. These patterns often develop in childhood when important emotional needs are not fully met and can continue to affect relationships, self-esteem, and well-being in adulthood. The goal of schema therapy is to help individuals identify these patterns, understand their origins, and learn healthier ways to meet their emotional needs and respond to difficult situations.
Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR)
EMDR helps to process and reduce the distress associated with traumatic or difficult memories. During EMDR sessions, the client briefly recalls the troubling memory while engaging in guided bilateral stimulation, such as following a moving object with their eyes. EMDR helps the brain reprocess these memories so they become less emotionally overwhelming and no longer strongly affect a person’s present well-being. It is commonly used to treat trauma- related difficulties.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a structured, short-term, and goal-oriented form of therapy that focuses on present problems and based on the idea that thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are interconnected. The goal of CBT is to help individuals identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, replace them with more realistic ones, and develop practical strategies to manage difficulties such as Depression and anxiety disorders.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
DBT helps people manage intense emotions and develop healthier ways of coping with difficult situations. It focuses on building practical skills such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication in relationships. The goal of DBT is to help individuals balance acceptance of their experiences with making positive changes in their thoughts, behaviours, and coping strategies.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT helps individuals develop psychological flexibility by learning to accept difficult thoughts and emotions rather than avoiding or suppressing them. It combines mindfulness with practical strategies that encourage people to stay present and observe their thoughts without judgment. The goal of ACT is to help individuals clarify their personal values and take meaningful actions aligned with those values, even when facing emotional challenges.
